Fed Poly Nekede Alumni Association Donates N1 Million To Institution
The
National Alumni Association of Federal Polytechnic Nekede has donated the sum
of One million naira to the institution for the founders’ day celebration
and the photo laboratory entrepreneurship project.
The
donation was announced when members of the association paid a visit to the
management of the institution.
Speaking
during the visit, the president of the association, Eng. Dr. Ben Iheakam, told the
management that they are in the school for interaction that helps them to
fashion out ways to help the school financially and morally.
He praised the Njoku led administration for creating enabling environment for progress in the school.
Dr.
Iheakam reiterated their desire to continue in the quest to place the school
among the best polytechnic in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
He
said the alumni have decide to place the welfare of the school first and
continue in those things that they have put in place to make the school a grand
citadel of learning which include founders day/ carnival, prices for the best
students in their various departments, entrepreneurship development etc.
The
alumni president informed the management that the donation of five
hundred thousand naira (N500,000.00) is for the founders’ day celebration and
another five hundred thousand naira for photo laboratory entrepreneurship.
