NANS PROTESTS SUSPENSION OF STUDENT UNIONS IN OYO BASED INSTITUTIONS  



Students in higher institutions around Oyo State have demanded the reinstatement of student unions suspended in most of the institutions.

They made the demand during what they described as a Democracy Day walk to the Oyo State Government House in Ibadan.

The specifically mentioned the University of Ibadan and the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) as some of such institutions.

Speaking to journalists, the Chairman, National Association of Nigeria Students, Oyo State Chapter, OLUJUWON MARSHAL, said they were also demanding adequate funding of education in the state.
